2025 Group Charity Details

Chosen by current BIMRG members, the Chapter will be supporting the following two charities over the course of 2025. In addition to the opportunity for temporary stewardship of the Mattson Rock (see details below), the Chapter will be collecting donations throughout the year at events, rides and online.

Biker Against Child Abuse (BACA)

BACA exists with the intent of creating a safer environment for abused children. They empower children and their families by providing protection on many levels described well on their website.

Idaho State Veterans Home

Dedicated to serving Idaho’s veterans and their families by providing superior advocacy, excellent assistance with benefits and education, high quality long-term care, and respectful interment services in a dignified final resting place.

The Mattson Rock - Donated to IMRG Chapter #1929 by Gary & Susie Mattson to be used as a fundraiser, in perpetuity, in support of group-selected charities. 2025's selected charities are listed above.

Between January and March, every $10 gift gives the donor one chance to call the Mattson Rock their own. At the April Chapter meeting, we'll draw a name for temporary stewardship of The Mattson Rock for a period of about 1 year for Boise IMRG members in good standing. Non-members are encouraged to participate but may not take off-site possession of the rock.
